Choosing the wedding flowers can be one of the most enjoyable things in planning a wedding but at the same time it can be the most laborious part. There are thousands of flowers to choose from and there are millions of arrangements imaginable. This is where a wedding florist comes in the picture; he or she can transform your vision to life.

What if you don’t have much money to spare on a wedding florist, can you still have wonderful flower arrangements? Sure you can as long as you’re not planning to hire a florist to the celebrity!

The most important thing you can do is to shop around. I don’t see the reason why you wouldn’t! Ask your friends or family if they can recommend a good florist. You can also try looking over the internet. Ask for estimates to get the best deal. I didn’t say though that you have to settle for the cheapest one but whoever florist you choose, make sure he or she can give you your hard-earned money’s worth. Compare prices and designs; try to visit at least three before making a final decision.

As they always say, you always get what you pay for and this is same as true when it comes to hiring a good florist. You don’t want to hire an inexperienced florist with awful style and cheap tastes. You can find so many good florists that do not charge ridiculous prices because they don’t spend much on advertising.

Don’t worry because prices are never set in stone so feel free to HAGGLE and NEGOTIATE. Keep in mind that a good florist should know how to substitute flowers that are less expensive but somehow look identical to the ones you have your eyes on. Work with a florist that you feel comfortable with, someone who’s not going to roll his or her eyes whenever you want to suggest something. Remember, this is your wedding and you should be the number one person to please.
